Director of Apparel Manufacturing

The Head of Production plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our manufacturing unit. This individual will support the Factory Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that production targets are consistently met with optimal quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
This position demands strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a results-driven approach in a high-volume garment manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Target Achievement & Production Planning: Develop and implement effective production plans to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Operations & Process Excellence: Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize production efficiency.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the production process.
- Cost & Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation and manage costs to maintain a competitive edge.
- People Management & Team Development: Foster a positive work environment, motivate team members, and provide opportunities for growth and development.
- Reporting & Coordination: Provide timely and accurate reports to stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across departments.Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Textile or Garment Technology or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in apparel manufacturing, with significant exposure to high-volume production.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results in tight timelines.
