Financial Management Role:

  • Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and related compliance.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management.
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and cash forecasting to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Manage budgeting processes and support cross-functional departmental budget planning.

Accounting & Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local tax regulations.
  • Timely and accurately file GST returns, handle GST audits and assessments, and respond to notices.
  • Manage income tax returns and statutory audits, ensuring timely responses within set time limits.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain accurate accounting records, and implement internal controls.

Strategic Support Functions:

  • Provide actionable financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior management on financial planning, risk management, and evaluation of financial performance.
  • Evaluate actual results against plans and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.

Team Leadership Duties:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff to enhance financial processes and systems.
  • Train staff on financial systems, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in financial management and accounting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical thinking, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software.
