Job Title: Governance and Risk Management Professional

This role involves leading the internal audit function, ensuring that all aspects of the organization's operations are aligned with its overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and issuing half-yearly audit circulars to stakeholders.
  • Reviewing internal audit reports and escalating violations for disciplinary action.
  • Drafting meeting agendas, minutes, and action letters to ensure seamless communication.
  • Coordinating penalty debits with the accounts team and addressing member queries in a timely manner.
Strategic Analysis and Reporting
  • Collecting and analyzing data from other exchanges and internal teams for member evaluation purposes.
  • Generating comprehensive reports and flagging high-risk or financially stressed members using advanced analytics tools.
Limited Purpose Inspections (LPI)
  • Scoping and monitoring Limited Purpose Inspections based on risk triggers to ensure effective governance.
  • Reviewing reports from regional offices and sharing findings with regulatory bodies as required.
IT Systems Coordination
  • Liasing with IT for system enhancement requests and UAT testing to ensure seamless integration.
  • Ensuring accurate release of updates in the live environment to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinating BCP activities across regional offices to ensure business continuity.
Regulatory Compliance and Process Improvement
  • Driving process improvements and submitting updates to the Business Excellence team.
  • Responding to regulatory queries and maintaining accurate records.
  • Managing investor awareness campaigns using UCC data to enhance transparency.
