Vishay Components India Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our team in India.

About the Role:

  • Provide technical support and advice to our sales team to drive business growth.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with Research and Development (R&D) engineers and managers.
  • Support customers with technical advice, component selection, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify new potential customers in India and develop strategies to engage with them.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive sales growth and provide technical support for design-in and win strategies.
  • Manage and maintain effective databases to track customer interactions and sales performance.
  • Provide application and component information to support new product development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Field Application Engineering or design engineering in the electronics industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in conversational and written English.
  • Mature and able to work independently in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
  • Able to travel frequently when required.
