Project Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Project Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills and experience working in multiple types of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution and achieve business objectives
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMEA) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) as needed

In this role, you will work closely with the RS Outdoor team to support structural projects and participate in Value Added Engineering (VAVE) initiatives. Your expertise in design engineering and mechanical engineering will be essential in executing projects successfully.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to work independently, think critically, and arrive at innovative solutions to complex technical problems. You will also be responsible for conducting DVPR (Design Validation and Verification) as needed and providing recommendations for containment solutions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and development
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with DFMEA, FMEA, and other quality assurance processes
