Cloud Architecture ExpertJob Description:

We are seeking a seasoned cloud architect to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise-grade cloud-native infrastructure. This role will be hands-on with architecture and automation while also providing strategic direction on cloud adoption, DevOps tooling, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure & Automation:
    • Define the end-to-end architecture for cloud-based workloads in Azure.
    • Design multi-environment, multi-region cloud architectures for high availability and disaster recovery.
    • Establish best practices for container orchestration, scaling, and governance in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
    • Advise on cost optimization strategies for AKS and related Azure resources.
  • Azure & AKS Expertise:
    • Architect and provision AKS clusters with features like cluster and node pool autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using Azure CNI/Kubenet, managed identities, and Azure AD integration.
    • Integrate AKS with supporting Azure services including Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus/Grafana, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure Key Vault.
  • DevOps & Security:
    • Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for AKS provisioning.
    • Implement GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux) for automated deployments.
    • Define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for AKS workloads.
  • Monitoring, Logging, & Observability:
    • Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus, Container Insights, and Grafana.
    • Establish automated alerting, anomaly detection, and incident response playbooks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in cloud architecture, DevOps, or related roles.
  • 5+ years hands-on Azure experience, with deep AKS expertise.
  • Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes architecture/troubleshooting, Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Private Link), IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), and container security/governance.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective AKS solutions.
