Web3 Investment Internship

This is a competitive program for high-caliber, high-conviction talent who want to build a career in venture capital or launch a Web3 venture.

As a member of the investment team, you will work directly with partners on high-stakes deals, strategic decisions, and portfolio building. You will gain hands-on VC training, learning by doing, not by shadowing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market analysis, primary and secondary research on different domains under the web3 ecosystem, authoring deeply analyzed thematic reports
  • Research and build theses on emerging Web3 trends, identifying tomorrow's web3 unicorns today
  • Track adoption of blockchain across non-crypto industries, identifying high-impact crossover opportunities
  • Source, qualify, and evaluate startups using both top-down and bottom-up approaches
  • Lead deep-dive diligence on product, technology, market, and founding teams
  • Craft compelling investment memos and present directly to the Investment Committee
  • Support negotiations and deal execution with founders, investors, and ecosystem partners
  • Work closely with portfolio companies to help them integrate Web3 capabilities and scale faster
  • Represent Hashed Emergent at top-tier conferences, closed-door investor gatherings, and founder communities
  • Publish articles on emerging Web3 themes to position yourself and Hashed Emergent as an authority in the space
Requirements:
  • 1+ years' experience in a venture capital, investment firm, top-tier consulting, or a high-impact role in a crypto-native startup or fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds along with entrepreneurial experience or a deep project in internships / freelance roles
  • Deep understanding of crypto ecosystems, particularly in developer growth, community, and protocol positioning
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, juggle multiple stakeholders, and deliver on tight timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of ownership, attention to detail, and operational discipline
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-transparency, and high-trust environment
