We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Trainee to join our team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the accounts payable function, assisting associates in identifying and implementing AP improvements, and providing other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
  • Reviewing invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
  • Verifying and calculating all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
  • Checking vendor files for any previous payments and assigning voucher numbers
  • Preparing vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
  • Identifying and implementing AP improvements
Requirements
  • B.Com Graduate with significant experience
  • Good communication skills and highly proactive approach
  • Strong SME knowledge of accounting concepts
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • ERP knowledge like SAP, PeopleSoft will be an added advantage
