Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date reference data for equity and derivative instruments. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving data quality issues, sourcing and maintaining market data events, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of financial data products.

The Financial Data Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data products. This includes identifying data quality issues, recommending procedural and technical changes to improve productivity and data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date reference data for equity and derivative instruments
  • Identifying and resolving data quality issues
  • Sourcing and maintaining market data events
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of financial data products
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Office applications, Basic SQL, and Macros

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working with large datasets
  • Experience with Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters/Refinitive products
