Key Role: Cybersecurity Operations Leader

This position requires an experienced cybersecurity professional to oversee daily operations in the Security Operations Center (SOC).

Core Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Guide and direct SOC analysts, ensuring effective detection, response, and mitigation of cyber threats.
  • Incident Management: Investigate, triage, and resolve security incidents, coordinating with teams.
  • Threat Detection Enhancement: Oversee SIEM platform configuration, tuning, and maintenance to improve threat detection capabilities.
  • Team Guidance: Mentor and guide SOC analysts, providing technical direction, training, and performance feedback.
  • Intelligence Integration: Leverage threat intelligence feeds to enhance detection rules and incident response strategies.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement SOC processes, playbooks, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent operations.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Generate reports on incident trends and SOC metrics, presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and security teams to align SOC activities with organizational objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cybersecurity Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM systems, scripting languages, and automation tools.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading teams and guiding staff members.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report generation and stakeholder updates.
