Research Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Analyst. This role offers excellent exposure to diverse development sector projects including research, monitoring & evaluation, digital solutions, and policy analysis across domains like education, health, environment, and rural development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research for baseline-endline studies
• Support policy analysis and research publication development
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis
• Prepare research briefs and summary reports
• Support needs assessment studies and impact evaluations

Data Management & Visualization

• Assist in survey design and data collection tool development
• Help maintain project databases and documentation

Content Development & Social Media Support

• Assist in creating IEC materials including booklets, toolkits, and educational content
• Support script development for awareness content
• Help in documentation of success stories and case studies
• Create engaging social media content for various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
• Assist in social media posting and community engagement activities
• Support development of visual content and infographics for various platforms

Project Support

• Provide research support to senior team members
• Assist in client presentation preparation
• Support field survey coordination and data collection
• Help in project documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications

Educational Background

• Master's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, MSW, MBA (Rural Management) or related field
• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi & Odia.
• Clear understanding and fluency in Odia language (reading/writing/speaking) is required
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation tools

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of survey design and research methodology
• Understanding of development sector challenges
• Experience with online survey platforms (KoBo, SurveyCTO)
• Proficiency in using LLMs and AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) for various work applications
• Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, basic Adobe Creative Suite)
• Eager and quick to learn new tools and skillsets
