Portfolio Research Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Portfolio Research Analyst with strong expertise in portfolio rebalancing and deep knowledge of investment products.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your skills and experience to drive success in our organization. As a Portfolio Research Analyst, you will play a key role in conducting portfolio analysis and rebalancing to optimize asset allocation and manage risk-adjusted returns.

  • Conduct thorough research and due diligence on various investment products to support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor and track the performance of client portfolios against benchmarks and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to design customized investment strategies that meet client needs.
  • Prepare comprehensive research reports, presentations, and client notes to facilitate effective communication.
  • Support the development of model portfolios and provide recommendations for rebalancing strategies based on market movements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, CFP, NISM) are advantageous.
  • 2–5 years of experience in portfolio research, wealth management, or investment advisory.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio rebalancing techniques and asset allocation models.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mutual Funds, AIFs, and PMS structures, strategies, and regulatory aspects.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and analytical tools (Bloomberg, Morningstar).
