Job Title: Inventory Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Inventory Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including raw materials, components, finished goods, and consumables.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely reordering to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory verification and reconcile with system records.
  • Implement proper tagging, labeling, and storage procedures for efficient material traceability.

Internal Stakeholder Support:

  • Issue materials to production, maintenance, and other departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to guarantee availability of necessary materials for uninterrupted operations.

Vendor & Procurement Coordination:

  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders (quantity, quality, and specifications).
  • Prepare Goods Receipt Notes and report discrepancies to procurement/quality teams.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Update inventory records in ERP/software/manual registers according to company standards.
  • Generate and share regular reports on stock movement, consumption patterns, material shortages, and wastages.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Evaluate proper handling, storage, and preservation of materials in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Adhere to company policies and audit requirements related to inventory management.
