Job Opportunity: Senior Financial Auditor

We are seeking an experienced financial auditor to lead our team in conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and US GAAS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of accounting and auditing experts, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality audit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough financial statement audits in conformity with US GAAP and US GAAS
  • Leading a team of accountants and auditors in the execution of audit engagements
  • Performing complex accounting and auditing research to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits
  • Developing and implementing effective communication strategies to convey audit findings and recommendations to clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in US GAAP and GAAS, preferably in a leadership or management role
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Familiarity with Caseware and Caseview, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Industry exposure: NFP, Single Audit, Government, and/or HUD, with a deep understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry trends
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
