Transport Operations Specialist

Key Role:
Job TitleThis position plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and efficient execution of customer SLA's. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Control Tower Lead in achieving customer KPI's / Transport agreed KPI's.
- Focus on tracking delivery performance and visibility.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Network Operations Team and CDM Team.
- Coordinate with multi-location teams for smooth operations.
Accountabilities:
- Monitor delivery KPI's against agreed KPI's and Service Quality.
- Maintain transport KPI's.
- Track undelivered and ageing shipments, focusing on timely closure through coordination with Site Ops/CDM/PM Team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-6 years' experience in transport business.
- Strong communication skills.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
Capabilities/Competencies:
- Decision-making & problem-solving.
- Customer/partner orientation.
- Able to work in a matrix environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional results while maintaining a high level of service quality. They will provide input for performance dashboards and proactively track delivery performance against EDD through effective coordination with Network Ops team.
