System Engineer Opportunity

Seeking passionate and reliable system engineers to collaborate with development teams to optimize application infrastructure.

This role involves designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective systems on cloud platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesCloud System Management:
  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and cost-effective systems on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, EBS, CloudWatch, WAF, and API Gateway.
  • Familiarity with ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, and CloudTrail.
  • Ensure high availability, autoscaling, performance monitoring, and cost optimization across environments.
Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security best practices across systems, applications, and APIs.
  • Manage IAM roles and policies, enforce least privilege access, and regularly audit permissions.
  • Configure security groups, NACLs, and VPC flow logs to control and monitor traffic.
  • Manage DNS management, global CDN, SSL termination, bot protection, and DDoS mitigation.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, patching, and security group audits.
  • Manage web application firewall for protection.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform log analysis and implement monitoring tools to ensure system health.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support.
  • Create dashboards and set SLIs/SLOs/SLAs.
  • Define and manage alerts and thresholds for proactive detection.
Database Administration:
  • Administer Postgres and Redis databases, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Participate in rotating schedules and perform monthly maintenance activities.
Incident Response and Root Cause Analysis:
  • Lead incident response efforts and implement preventive actions to reduce mean time to recovery.
  • Familiarity with incident response tools.
  • Ensure clear postmortem documentation and root cause analysis timelines.
Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with development teams to optimize system infrastructure.
  • Manage incidents, minimize downtime, and provide escalation support as required.
Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and guides.
Research and Development:
  • Actively participate in R&D to improve systems and processes.
