Job Overview

A pivotal role for a civil engineer is to oversee the execution of drilling, concreting, and reinforcement placement on-site. This involves collaborating with senior engineers to prepare technical documentation and ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field surveys, soil investigations, and pile load testing are monitored and coordinated by the individual.
  • Review and verification of materials and equipment required for piling works are conducted.
  • Daily progress reports are prepared, and accurate records of piling & other activities are maintained.
  • Coordination with contractors, vendors, and project teams ensures smooth execution.
  • Support is provided for planning, micro scheduling, and resource allocation for piling and civil works.
Essential Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is a minimum requirement.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in piling techniques (bored piles) are necessary.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation is expected.
Skill Requirements
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of piling techniques, load bearing structures, foundations, construction materials and methods, basic surveys techniques bar bending schedule, estimation etc.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities are vital.

This position requires an individual with a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
