Student Guidance and Support Specialist

We are seeking a Student Guidance and Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to handle student/parent queries in Gujarati or Kannada language.

The successful applicant will be responsible for guiding students regarding academic programs, courses, and career opportunities. They will also address student queries, provide accurate information about admission processes, curriculum, and policies while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.

In addition to their core responsibilities, the Student Guidance and Support Specialist will be required to update and manage student interactions in the CRM system, achieve daily/weekly counselling targets, and contribute to overall team goals. Collaboration with internal teams (admissions, academic, operations) to ensure smooth student onboarding is also essential.

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline (Education/Management background preferred)
  • Fluency in Gujarati / Kannada (speaking & understanding is mandatory)
  • Good communication skills in English/Hindi
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students and parents
  • Prior experience in counselling, customer service, or education sector will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools

Key Responsibilities

  1. Handle inbound and outbound calls to counsel students/parents in Gujarati or Kannada language.
  2. Guide students regarding academic programs, courses, and career opportunities.
  3. Address student queries and provide accurate information about admission processes, curriculum, and policies.
  4. Maintain a high level of empathy and professionalism while resolving concerns.
  5. Update and manage student interactions in the CRM system.
