Software Platform Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled engineer to design develop and deploy scalable software solutions using Python and other technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and manage infrastructure systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Develop software applications using Python focusing on API/web development and database integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature requests and technical debt.
  • Participate in code reviews contribute to open-source projects and help maintain our tech stack.
  • Analyze complex problems develop creative solutions and implement them efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in software development preferably in cloud-based SaaS applications.
  • Excellent Python programming skills with experience in web frameworks like Tornado Flask or FastAPI.
  • Strong understanding of databases including SQL and NoSQL data models.
  • Experience with Git CI/CD tools and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with machine learning and associated tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with video encoding using ffmpeg and image processing using GraphicsMagick or PIL.
