Role: Mobile Games Project Manager

As a project manager for our mobile games division, you will oversee the timely delivery of our released games. You must understand game release requirements, allocate resources efficiently, and verify progress through regular checks.

This role demands attention to detail, ability to identify dependencies, and willingness to adopt best practices in delivering creative projects like games.

  • Understand the scope of each release and its purpose to effectively triage and escalate issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers/produced teams to plan resources and dependencies for each release, delivering a project plan as the outcome.
  • Work closely with various heads of departments and partner managers to ensure all resources are aligned.
  • Participate actively during the production phase, working with creative, art, development, and QC teams across projects to ensure they remain on track.
  • If issues arise, escalate them immediately and clearly, providing possible solutions for management to decide upon.
  • Be proficient in scheduling tools such as MS Project, SmartSheets, or Trello.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
  • You have successfully launched or updated products at least eight releases of an app in twelve months.
  • A strong passion for gaming is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A background in mobile app development or mobile game development is beneficial for understanding involved teams.
  • Familiarity with Android and iOS devices and stores is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, with additional formal qualifications in project management highly preferred.
