Join a team that drives innovation and excellence in the field of power electrical engineering. As a Lead Power Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing DC power supply solutions for industrial applications.Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on power electronics and systems. He or she will be responsible for:

  • Designing and specifying high-voltage transformers;
  • Developing electrical philosophies and philosophies related to power electronics;
  • Managing electrical protections and earthing systems;
  • Contacting suppliers to ensure technical comparison of offers and discussions;
  • Participating in FAT and SAT activities related to studies;
  • Developing engineering processes and templates for the team;
  • Ensuring technological watch and continuous learning within the Hydrogen sector.
Requirements
  • A degree in power electronics or electrical engineering;
  • A minimum of 15-18 years of experience in engineering within an industrial environment;
  • Experience and knowledge in Oil&Gas or Energy sectors is an asset;
  • Noctions of instrumentation (gas) and a technical basis in automation;
  • Knowledge of software like ETAP is an asset;
  • Knowledge of standards such as Functional Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Explosive Atmosphere, API;
  • A strong autonomous personality, entrepreneurial mindset, and willingness to win;
  • Prioritization and excellent sense of organization skills;
  • Ability to work in a team and take responsibility for several projects in parallel;
  • Adaptability and ease with evolving in a continuously growing environment;
  • Fluency in English and French languages;
  • Proficiency in MS office, Teams, and SharePoint.
