Electrical Engineering Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Lead to drive the development of research in Electrical Power Systems Engineering. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing stranded power in DC systems.


### Job Summary
The successful candidate will lead the development of all aspects of research in Electrical Power Systems Engineering, focusing on software defined power. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and manage DC electrical designs for new projects, infrastructure upgrades, and rectifications.

### Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Design and Engineering (D&E) core teams to develop and implement DC electrical designs for new development, infrastructure upgrades, and rectifications.
* Participate in new technology insertions through collaboration with the core engineering team to provide site-specific requirements during the development of Business Operations Documents (BODs).
* Conduct quarterly reviews of technologies and commercial aspects for key areas.

### Required Skills and Qualifications
* Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university. A major in Power Engineering is advantageous.
* Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of medium/Low voltage /High Voltage electrical distribution systems, AC/DC systems, and associated power management/SCADA tools.
* Prior knowledge of power system condition monitoring.
