Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

 

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural engineering solutions for petrochemical plants, oil & gas plants, and other related projects.

You will work closely with our engineers and technicians to ensure that all designs meet the required standards and specifications. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and review contract specifications, design calculations and analyses, and procurement specifications.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for interfacing with other disciplines, user departments, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

You will play a crucial role in estimation and engineering work related to bids, and your skills and experience will be essential in preparing high-quality proposals.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel and reinforced concrete design and detailing
  • Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAP software
  • Experience with international codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
