Job Overview

This is a critical role in our organization, requiring an expert in Know Your Customer (KYC) processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance on KYC-related matters, including regulatory changes and best practices.
  • Support high-risk and complex client KYC review cases.
  • Collate feedback for QA reports, discuss with stakeholders, and present the final feedback.
  • Implement global financial crime program requirements as they relate to KYC.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate escalation procedures and serve as primary contact for query resolution.
  • Identify process enhancements and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive consistent interpretation and application of KYC requirements with onshore and offshore teams.
  • Conduct training and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team understanding of KYC processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop training materials and resources to support ongoing education.
  • Act as liaison between KYC team and other departments, providing updates and insights.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
  • Align KYC processes with bank's risk management framework.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise stakeholders on implications.
  • Ensure completion of audit/compliance testing action points and track open items.
  • Design and build KYC training programs and frameworks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent understanding of KYC, financial regulatory environment, and AML risk implications.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory guidelines and assess impact.
  • High degree of accuracy and ability to work under pressure.
