Job Description

As a senior AWS Glue developer, you will design and develop serverless data ingestion and transformation solutions using the AWS ecosystem.

This involves moving the client towards an Extract-Load-Transform (ELT) approach, aligning with Gartner's methodology on data transformation.

Additionally, you will implement metadata-driven integration design and build for rapid onboarding of new systems. By introducing DBT alongside AWS Glue, the client can transition to a true data operations delivery method.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop serverless data ingestion and transformation solutions using the AWS ecosystem
  • Implement ELT approach aligned with Gartner's methodology on data transformation
  • Implement metadata-driven integration design and build for rapid onboarding of new systems
  • Introduce DBT alongside AWS Glue for true data operations delivery

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem and its services
  • Experience with serverless architecture and design
  • Knowledge of data transformation and ingestion methodologies
  • Familiarity with metadata-driven integration design
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
