**Job Role:** Accounts Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our company's financial affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed financial reports, managing accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial appraisal notes and data for financing working capital
  • Preparation of monthly stock statements, projected financials, and diligence certificates for working capital
  • Handling foreign exchange-related transactions, including payments, receipts, and fluctuation accounting
  • Liaison with bankers on a regular basis and preparation of documents as required by different banks
  • Reviewing compliance to accounting systems and procedures, supervising the timely preparation of statutory books of accounts, and finalizing year-end financial statements
  • Maintaining accounting systems and financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Preparing and maintaining necessary stock records, conducting stock verification and reconciliation at regular intervals
  • Preparing reports on company performance, scrutinizing processes and procedural break downs in accounting systems
  • Handling financial matters, including working capital management, ratio analysis, and cash flow analysis
  • Monthly ledger scrutiny of all accounts and ensuring renewal of insurance policies in time
  • Reconciliation of various accounts, including receivables, payables, and intercompany transactions
  • Capital expenditure management and capitalization of assets, as well as maintenance of fixed asset registers

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
