We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Specialist to provide advanced technical support and training to our staff.

This key member of our IT department will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting complex IT issues, developing and maintaining documentation for technical procedures, and collaborating with other IT staff to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with experience in troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively translate technical information to non-technical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced technical support and training to staff members
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex IT issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for technical procedures
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related support service field and a strong working knowledge of accounting applications, such as CCH Engagement and Thomson GoSystem Tax. They will also have experience supporting end-users in a Microsoft environment and hold certifications in Windows 10/11, CompTIA A+, or CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Azure.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree in an IT-related field or combination of education and technical training
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in related support service field
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting applications, such as CCH Engagement and Thomson GoSystem Tax (desired)
  • Experience supporting end-users in a Microsoft environment
  • Strong working knowledge of but not limited to – Microsoft Products including Teams, Microsoft 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Windows 10/11, CompTIA A+, or CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Azure certification
  • Experience troubleshooting computer and mobile device hardware
  • Foundational knowledge in video conferencing and audio-visual hardware
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Understanding of Basic ITIL Process, SLA, Priority & Severity Matrix
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to continual personal and professional improvement
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Willingness to travel to remote offices as needed
