Business Development Manager in Telecom

Job Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Carrier Business in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving execution of go-to-market plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue new business opportunities and build strategic partnerships to drive growth and revenue.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies for broadband solutions, including market entry, pricing strategy, and go-to-market plans.
- Lead market analysis, conduct in-depth market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and competition.
- Translate customer feedback and market dynamics into potential changes to ensure a differentiated product roadmap.
- Interact with partners and lead customers to ensure product success.
- Work with technology product management and engineering leads to drive requirements into the technology roadmaps.
- Achieve revenue targets by effectively selling broadband solutions and services, manage sales pipeline and forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant industry experience in telecommunications/networking/infrastructure/Silicon.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing business deals and GTM execution.
- Connections with component suppliers and distributors in India and abroad.
