Project Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Manager to oversee the financial aspects of our projects. This role will be responsible for managing project budgets, invoicing, and tax matters.

• Financial Planning and Budgeting: Prepare comprehensive project budget plans, including annual, quarterly, and monthly projections, as well as rolling forecasts.
• Invoicing and Tax Support: Take ownership of project invoicing, ensuring timely payment and compliance with tax regulations.
• Project Reviews and Reporting: Participate in regular project reviews with senior management, reviewing and analyzing all financial aspects of the project.
• Commercial Awareness: Foster commercial awareness among project team members, providing valuable insights to inform project execution plans.
• Client Coordination: Coordinate with clients on invoice approvals, payments, and compliance matters.
• Billing Register and Expense Control: Maintain accurate billing records, tracking status, deductions, and follow-ups for collection.
• Site Expenses Monitoring: Closely monitor and control site expenses, providing weekly reports and reconciliations with SAP entries.
• Cost Analysis and Reporting: Analyze actual vs. budget costs and revenue, highlighting potential issues to senior management.
• Project Actualisation: Lead project actualisation activities at predefined intervals, coordinating with the project team to gather required data and prepare finance-related slides.
• Kappa Review and Compliance: Review Kappa against budgeted costs, identifying any deviations and ensuring adequate documentation is attached.
• Monthly Business Review: Share project slides for monthly business review, keeping senior management informed.
• Provisions and Cash Verification: Conduct thorough checks on provisions to ensure accuracy and completeness, performing monthly cash verification and surprise verification.
• Internal Financial Controls: Oversee Internal Financial Controls (IFC) compliance, leading and supervising adherence to HO-defined Risk and Control Matrix (RCM).
• Guarantees and Insurance Renewal: Monitor guarantees and insurances, ensuring timely renewal or reduction according to contractual conditions.
• Tax Regulations: Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Core Finance Support: Provide support to the execution team, serving as a core finance resource for all finance-related matters on site.
• Timesheets and Staff Supervision: Timely fill man-days for self and check timesheets of staff working on the project, supervising day-to-day work and providing guidance.
• Analysis and Adhoc Requests: Support the central controlling team on various analyses and ad-hoc requests.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess an MBA in Finance, CA-Inter, or ICWA qualification.

Work Experience:

A minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a project finance environment.
