About this role:

We're looking for a seasoned hardware engineer to join our team.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to design and develop electronic systems with a strong focus on electronics troubleshooting and testing.
  • As a skilled professional in high-speed microprocessors, architectural circuit design, and different micro-controller circuit designs, you'll be able to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our products and customers.
  • With your extensive knowledge of analog and digital circuits, including circuit simulations, you'll be able to estimate hardware design tasks, identify risks, and plan development effectively.
  • You'll have the ability to coordinate with software/Firmware teams on designs and development of products and systems, leveraging your skills in PCB materials, fabrication processes, and assembly/manufacturing knowledge of PCB/PCBA and DFX methods/definitions.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop electronic systems with excellent skills in electronics troubleshooting and testing

Sound knowledge of high-speed microprocessors, architectural circuit design, and different micro-controller circuit designs

Strong analog and digital circuit knowledge, including circuit simulations

Estimate hardware design tasks, identify risks, and plan development

Create, interpret, and review electrical schematics with proficiency

Coordinate with software/Firmware teams on designs and development of products and systems

Self-motivated with a strong multi-disciplinary background

Able to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up atmosphere

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements:

- Extensive experience using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscope, variac load resistors, AC/DC supplies

- Proficient in using PCB CAD and circuit simulators and analysis tools – Mentor Graphics, SPICE, PSPICE, and HSPICE

- Knowledge of SPI, I2C, USB, 232/485 Serial, and Ethernet interface designs
