Job description Hardware Design

Qualification (Technical & Behavioral):

B.E. (ECE) / B.E. (EEE) / ME

6 - 7 years of experience in embedded HW development (V cycle activities)

Technical Skills

Experience working in hardware design and development of automotive products Instrument

cluster / Driver Information System, Driver Assistance system, Audio / Infotainment system/BCM

Experience in In-vehicle networking based on CAN, LIN and Flexray

Experience in design and development of automotive products meeting Functional Safety (ISO26262)

requirements

Work with Cross Functional Teams of Software , Mechanical , Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality to develop a

manufactural and reliable product.

Sound experience in 16bit/32bit microcontroller/processor/ SOM based Hardware Architecture.

Excellent understanding of Engineering Principles, Methodologies used in Hardware design and

development

Experience working with 16/32 bit microcontrollers and microprocessors NXP / Infinenon ( Cypress)

/ Renesas / Qualcomm etc

Excellent Hardware & Software Debugging skills

Experience working on various on board communication methods UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, Microwire

Good knowledge in TFT interface.

Exposure to conduct DOE (Design of experiments ) for Proving New chips.

Exposure to patent adds value

Mandatory Skills

Practical Experience in designing automotive products complying to EMI/EMC standards

Practical experience in designing Analog & Digital Circuits

Excellent experience in Microcontrollers / Processors (16bit/32bit) based hardware design and

development

Experience in Power management circuitry

Exposure to firmware development for 16bit/32bit microcontrollers/processors /SOM

Good knowledge in High Speed PCB design.

Hands on Experience in Digital /Micro controller debugging / Trouble shooting

Tools and Hardware Skills

Hands on experience with Hardware design tools like Altium / Orcad /Cadence Allegro

Hands on experience with Simulation tools like Multisim / Pspice

Ability to assess the impact of Hardware with respect to the Software changes.

Hands on experience with Tracing the signals at test points to conform the functionality of software

driven I/Os using Oscilloscope, logic analyzer and multi-meter.

Experience in integrate with SW team

Experience in Process (CMMI / Autospice) engineering practices implementation

Soft & Leadership Skills

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills

Ability to work as team player and team leader

Able to Lead himself under critical situations solving the Uncertainties in the project

Ability to be self disciplined to Monitor & Track Himself and contribute for the Project

Able to lead one or two Juniors and Mentor them to contribute for Team skill Improvements for the HW department
