Senior Data Engineer Position

At our organization, we are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Engineer with extensive expertise in the Google Cloud stack to join our team of experts.

  • Work closely with Google BigQuery and Google SQL to query and manipulate data to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop high-quality scripts in Python, Go, or Perl to extract, transform, and update datasets with precision and accuracy.
  • Experience with MapReduce frameworks is a significant advantage, enabling efficient processing and scalability of large datasets.

Data Visualization Expertise

  • Create compelling reports and dashboards using Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio to present complex findings in an easily understandable format.
  • Apply data visualization principles to create informative and actionable visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

Pipeline Development & Optimization

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines that meet the evolving needs of our organization, utilizing your expertise in data engineering to drive business growth.
  • Utilize data to propose innovative solutions and actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Performance Enhancement

  • Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance query performance, reducing latency and improving overall system efficiency.
  • Implement techniques such as indexing, partitioning, parallel processing, caching, efficient storage formats (Parquet/ORC), and in-memory computing to boost performance and scalability.

Scheduling & Automation Expertise

  • Manage and schedule workflows using tools like Airflow, Dreampipe, or similar job schedulers to ensure seamless execution and minimal downtime.

Release Engineering Role

  • Support on-demand and scheduled release management processes for data pipelines, ensuring smooth integration and deployment of new features and functionality.
