About the Role:

The Associate Director – Onboarding & Central Projects will work closely with the COO's office to manage and coordinate critical tasks. This individual will have access to the highest level of decision-making and strategic conversations at the PayU leadership team.

About the Team:

The Projects Team is a new unit being set up by PayU to drive key projects/products. This is a highly diversified and critical role that includes initiating, defining, planning, and executing intermediate to large scale, cross-functional, and company-wide projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day functions with the COO:
    • Own tasks assigned to Central projects and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
    • Drive collaboration with engineering, production, product, operation, and sales teams on developments, QA, and release of products or PG integration.
    • Work across teams to ensure discussion documents meet expectations and discussions are productive and useful.
    • Attend key meetings with COO and follow through on next steps by working with different teams and ensuring accountability.
  • Business Analysis:
    • Synthesize key business metrics and drive insights to facilitate discussion at leadership meetings.
    • Create first-principal inputs-driven dashboards to measure underlying drivers of business performance.
    • Monitor market trends and data and highlight and surface developments that would be of significance to the company.

Requirements:

  • Total 10+ years of experience, with at least 6+ years working as a project manager or program manager in Fintech, Bank, or related industries.
  • Experience in Management Consulting/Fintech/BFSI/Technology Businesses.
  • Strong analytical mindset and proven ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to traverse both vertically and horizontally in a large organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of project management elements, life cycles, tools, and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
