Position Overview

The Strategic Business Director will be responsible for driving the overall business strategy, growth initiatives, and operational excellence of the organization. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the telecom infrastructure landscape and a proven track record of driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's business strategy to achieve growth objectives and expand market presence.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances that align with company goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in the telecom infrastructure space.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (engineering, operations, finance, marketing) to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through innovative service offerings and market expansion strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry organizations.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and report on progress to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead the business development team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a senior leadership role within the telecom infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.
