Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our medical services team. The successful candidate will provide clinical and administrative direction for the clinical operation of medical departments and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Clinical Policies: Ensure high-quality patient care and safety by developing and implementing effective clinical policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate Medical Care: Oversee all medical care provided at the unit, including quality monitoring, accreditation, and assurance.
  • Analyze Department Mix: Analyze department mix and need for consultants, participating in tariff revision and clinical compensation patterns.
  • Monitor Doctor Costs: Monitor and rationalize doctor costs, and optimize surgical and medical charges.
  • Responsible for Quality Monitoring: Responsible for clinician-related quality monitoring, accreditation, and quality assurance services.
  • Coordinate Medical Advisory Board: Coordinate and conduct medical advisory board, clinical HOD committee, departmental meetings, and participate in infection control committee, pharmacy and therapeutic committee, ethics committee, blood transfusion committee, CPR analysis committee.
  • Oversight of Reporting: Oversight of reporting and communication of quality improvement initiatives, quality and patient safety awareness, safety culture survey administration, and recognition programs.
  • Addressing Consultant Requirements: Addressing requirement of consultants and recruitment of consultants, induction, onboarding, credentialing, and privileging, formulating contracts with inputs from hospital director.
  • Addressing Patient Concerns: Addressing clinical patient concerns, complaints, potential medico-legal complaints in coordination with treating doctor.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualification: MBBS + MHA
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Medical Superintendent role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven team leadership skills with ability to work effectively in highly collaborative team environment.
