Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise requests for proposals (RFPs) or requests for quotes (RFQs) with logistics service providers to meet business requirements and receive offers.
  • Negotiate with parties and nominate/ finalize logistics service providers based on the fulfillment of requirements and guidelines received.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective movements of imports, exports, domestic, and miscellaneous shipments.
  • Align clearance and transportation activities with business requirements and take necessary actions accordingly.
  • Develop strategic plans for further business activities in export and import shipments through contracts and partnerships.
  • Ensure business continuity by promptly moving materials as per requirements to support the plant.
  • Identify potential vendors, develop vendors, and retain vendors.
  • Handle reverse auctions and manage them based on guidelines.
  • Handle and close audits/ queries from internal/ external agencies as applicable.
  • Budgeting and cost control activities as required.
  • Generate and maintain standards, procedures, documents as per applicable guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Preferred Candidate Profile: MS Office / SAP skills are preferred.
