Job Title: Accountant - Lease Accounting Professional">

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lease accounting process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

This role involves analyzing legal documents to determine lease classification in accordance with U.S. GAAP ASC 842, as well as reviewing lease classification testing to ensure accuracy.

Collaboration with senior staff and cross-functional departments is essential to achieve accurate accounting and reporting of lease transactions.

Additionally, this position requires proficiency in general ledger accounting systems and experience with U.S. GAAP-based financial accounting, particularly ASC 842, Lease Accounting.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 3-4 years of public accounting or large multinational company accounting experience.

Chartered Accountant certification is preferred, and proficiency in English languages is required.

A strong understanding of U.S. GAAP concepts and ability to apply that knowledge to real-life situations are also essential.

Responsibilities include communicating effectively with other departments and outside auditors, drafting memos, emails, and footnotes, and working collaboratively to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Excel and Word is also required.

We seek a team player who works with appropriate sense of urgency and ownership to meet deadlines and has the ability to shift priorities as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, and a high level of professionalism.
