Cloud Expert Role

This role entails optimizing and enhancing the scalability, efficiency, and performance of cloud-based architectures.

The ideal candidate will conduct regular reviews of cloud resource utilization, optimize cloud spend while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance, implement cost governance frameworks, tagging, and monitoring dashboards, advise on architecture improvements for high availability, security, and compliance, recommend and configure automation for DevOps pipelines, support scaling across global regions, and provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal engineering teams.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular reviews of cloud resource utilization (compute, storage, databases, IoT Hub, AKS, etc.).
  • Optimize cloud spend while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement cost governance frameworks, tagging, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Advise on architecture improvements for high availability, security, and compliance.
  • Recommend and configure automation for DevOps pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).
  • Support scaling across global regions (India, Middle East, SEA).
  • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless).
  • Proven track record in cloud cost optimization and DevOps best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Functions, AKS, IoT Hub, CosmosDB, Blob, Key Vault, Monitor, and B2C.
  • Familiarity with microservices, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD automation.
  • Experience with startup or fast-growth environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for remote, on-demand consulting.
