Job Description:

The role of a Senior Business Analyst involves driving the successful delivery of consulting engagements. This entails collaborating closely with client stakeholders, business users, and cross-functional delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Documenting solution requirements; designing solutions; modeling and configuring e-commerce data structures and business processes;
  • Collecting, manipulating, and loading product data; defining test scripts and acceptance criteria;
  • Managing and communicating requirement, design, and priority changes, as well as facilitating and managing defect tracking and prioritization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting one-on-one or small group interviews to gather required use cases, functional requirements, and technical requirements for developing requirement documentation.
  • Providing analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and documenting e-commerce system requirements and procedures that are cost-effective and meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Offering consultation to client stakeholders and business users on Omni-channel-specific business topics, including product catalog modeling, inventory management, customer service, B2B customer management, B2B procurement, demand generation, promotion strategy, cross-channel commerce, and more.
  • Developing user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, data models, and process flow diagrams to communicate engagement scope to clients and delivery team members.
  • Being accountable for completing assigned work within specified timeframes and communicating status if task delivery dates are at risk.
  • Working collaboratively with other project delivery team members towards the resolution of business or systems issues.
  • Understanding e-commerce data structures, collecting product catalogue data from client business users, manipulating data for import into e-commerce systems, identifying data gaps, and performing product data imports into e-commerce systems (project-dependent).
  • Providing system demonstrations and training to client business users.
  • Developing test plans, writing manual/automated test scripts, and defining acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality project deliverables (project-dependent).
