Branch Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will oversee daily branch operations, directing teams to manage cash, clearing, transfers, ECS/RTGS/NEFT, SB, CD, FDR, deposits, account openings, and customer service. They must ensure high service standards are maintained in resolving customer complaints and issues. Additionally, they will establish and strengthen key customer relationships to drive sustained business growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee the administration of the branch, including daily operations such as cash management, clearing, and transfers.
  • Manage a team of Tellers and Customer Service Officers to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, maintaining high service standards.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with key customers to generate sustained business growth.
  • Monitor and maintain cash balances within the Cash Retention Limit.
  • Identify and control income leakage, office accounts, and anti-money laundering risks.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, review vault registers, and manage overdue transactions.
  • Track and analyze branch operations reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Cooperate with internal and external audits, addressing queries promptly.
