Job Summary

Our organization seeks an experienced Investment Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate investment accounting and supporting staff with complex entries and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate investment accounting records and provide support to staff with complex accounting tasks.
  • Have hands-on experience in both investment and general ledger accounting, as well as consolidated concepts and private equity accounting.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 9 years of experience in US accounting, with expertise in the following areas:

  • General ledger accounting
  • Investment accounting (platforms such as Sage, QBO, Geneva, Investran)
  • Consolidated accounting concepts (eliminating entries)
  • Private equity accounting
  • Wealth enterprise accounting (entity cost allocation)
  • Trust & foundation accounting
  • Basic tax treatments
  • Diverse experience in investment and personal accounting, especially for family enterprises
  • Experience in a reviewer role and staff/project management
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with both investment performance platforms (e.g., Black Diamond) and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, QBO) is highly desirable. A proven track record in investment accounting for family offices or similar environments is also preferred.
