Project Development Specialist

This role involves working as part of a project team to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.

    • Oversee daily construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
    • Supervise subcontractors and site teams to maintain quality and progress, resolving any technical issues that may arise.
    • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    • Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with the QA/QC team to rectify any non-conformities.
    • Monitor material testing and ensure the use of approved materials, maintaining accurate records throughout the process.
    • Ensure implementation of safety practices on-site, enforcing the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting incidents or safety violations.

    • Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and issues promptly.
    • Develop strong working relationships with all project participants, fostering open communication and collaboration.
    • Assist in quantity take-offs and verification of subcontractor/vendor bills, monitoring material consumption to minimize wastage and control costs.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
    • 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects (residential, commercial, infrastructure, or industrial).
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with national building codes, IS codes, and construction safety standards.
    • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
