About the Role
The analytics team is responsible for leveraging data analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights for improving and optimizing various aspects of the business and product.
We're looking for a Lead Business Analyst to drive business and product initiatives, mentor junior analysts, and own the role of primary analytics point of contact.
Key Responsibilities- Drive business and product initiatives by leading a team of analysts.
- Mentor junior analysts and groom them for career growth and development.
- Own the role of primary analytics point of contact for multiple business/product tracks.
- Ensure effective planning of roadmaps, initiatives, and sprints.
- Communicate and adhere to timelines for analytics projects.
- Brainstorm with stakeholders around key problems impacting core metrics.
- Identify trends and opportunities from backend data for optimization or growth in business, benchmarking against industry standards.
- Design and implement analytics solutions for complex and long-term projects, including machine learning/AI-based solutions.
- Identify key business metrics driving projects, assess analytics feasibility, and assist in data collection.
- Implement analytics solutions/algorithms/models and enable phase-wise rollout.
- Be the flag-bearer of industry best practices for analytics teams, including documentation, data visualization, data modeling, query writing, Python coding, project planning, etc.
Our data stack includes Snowflake Datalake & Warehouse, Python, Metabase & Streamlit for Data Visualization, DBT for data modeling & transformation, Mixpanel for Product Analytics, 5x & Snowpark for Scripting Automations, Monte Carlo for Data Quality Observability.
