Job Overview

The role of a food service operations manager is pivotal in ensuring seamless service delivery. It entails leading a team to provide optimal guest experiences, inspecting staff attire and grooming, and rectifying any deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
  • Scheduled Inventories: Complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Dining Room Operations: Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
  • Maintenance: Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
  • Employee Development: Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.

Effective communication and confidentiality are essential in this position, as the successful candidate will maintain proprietary information and protect company assets while delivering exceptional service.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
