At our organisation, we are looking to hire an experienced Visual Artist who can contribute to the development of engaging gaming experiences.
About the Role:
- Create high-quality visual assets including characters, environments, and user interface components.
- Develop a consistent visual style across various screens and states.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Minimum 4 hours per day commitment required; immediate starts preferred.
Requirements:
- Strong portfolio showcasing 2D game art and UI experience (links required).
- Proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator/Figma (Procreate welcome).
- Understanding of visual hierarchy, readability, and accessibility principles.
- Clean export/handoff practices: naming, slicing, densities, and asset optimisation.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Basic knowledge of Blender/Maya (blocking, UVs, simple lighting) or Unity/Unreal import.
- Motion/UI micro-interactions, particle/VFX, iconography experience.
- Prior work on EdTech/HealthTech/FinTech/Fitness products.
