Subject Expert Manager

About the Position:

This managerial role entails overseeing Questions Bank Management, managing a large number of Subject Expert panels, and collaborating closely with other Subject Administrators as per project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures high-quality Questions Banks for Assessments are developed
  • Creates Content - MCQs in General Knowledge & Current Affairs
  • Manages Question Banks:
  • Develops and implements quality standards for writing and review in respective domains
  • Tracks inventory and maintains optimal levels of item availability in assigned non-STEM domains/subjects
  • Manages SMEs:
  • Defines selection criteria and strategies
  • Monitors SME performance quality
  • Trains and develops SME pools in different domains/subjects
  • Coordinates with SMEs for all test development activities
  • Designs tests in subjects of expertise and coordinates with SMEs to finalize test designs in other domains/subjects
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets
  • Supports Lead Subject Administrator in delivering projects and other requirements as per organizational needs
  • Conducts post-exam questions analysis and reports to higher management

Qualifications:

  • Has subject competency in school subjects till 12th level as per NCERT Syllabus
  • Has broader understanding of education system in the country and NCERT/CBSE/Boards
  • Has experience in education sector related to assessment and evaluation - test designs/blueprints, question development
  • Has good command over English both written and spoken
  • Has good command over spoken Hindi
