Lead Tax Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Tax Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, supervising tax staff, and leading tax planning strategies for individuals and businesses.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns, including 1040, 1065, 1120, and estate/trust returns;
- Supervise and mentor tax staff to ensure compliance with IRS regulations and US tax law;
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies for individuals and businesses to minimize tax liability;
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business growth and improve client service;
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients through direct communication and exceptional customer service;
Requirements:
- Must hold a CPA or EA certification;
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
- 10+ years of experience in US taxation with strong technical expertise in complex tax returns;
- Prior experience managing and mentoring teams;
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and US tax law;
- Proficiency with US tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax);
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills;
