Our company is seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our team. As a Tax Specialist, you will play a vital role in reviewing and finalizing complex tax returns prepared by junior associates. You will foster a collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to your colleagues while working closely with senior managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of US individual tax concepts, including forms 8621, 5471, 1116, 2555, 6252, and passthrough reporting.
  • Lead the review process for moderate to complex tax returns, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery.
  • Train and assist junior associates in their day-to-day tasks, promoting a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborate with the team on tax research, applying deep understanding of tax theory and principles to meet client requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with teams in India and the US, demonstrating independent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of experience in US Individual taxation (1040)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and coaching abilities
  • Experience working on high-net-worth individuals and complex tax situations
