Human Resources Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Professional to oversee and manage all aspects of our HR practices and processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee-related matters, ensuring seamless communication and resolving issues in a timely manner.
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives to maintain a positive and motivating workplace culture, fostering a sense of belonging among employees.
    • Manage grievance handling, conflict resolution, and employee counselling with a focus on employee satisfaction and retention, promoting a healthy work environment.
  • Policy Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all internal HR policies and statutory requirements, maintaining regulatory compliance and minimizing risk.
    • Conduct regular audits and checks to verify compliance with organizational policies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
    • Recommend updates and improvements to HR policies as needed, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle - from sourcing to interviewing and hiring suitable candidates, ensuring diversity and inclusivity in the hiring process.
    • Design and implement onboarding programs to ensure smooth assimilation of new hires, providing comprehensive training and support for successful integration into the team.
  • Performance Management:
    • Support the implementation and execution of the company's performance appraisal system, providing feedback and coaching to employees to enhance their performance.
    • Guide and mentor managers and employees on performance evaluations and feedback, promoting continuous learning and growth.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify skill gaps and coordinate learning and development initiatives, upskilling and reskilling employees to meet evolving business needs.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and career progression, empowering employees to take ownership of their professional development.
  • Employee Benefits and Insurance Management:
    • Administer and manage employee insurance policies (health, accident, etc.), ensuring timely communication and documentation related to employee benefits.
    • Act as the liaison with insurance providers for policy renewals, claims, and employee queries, providing exceptional customer service.
  • HR Operations:
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases while ensuring confidentiality, adhering to data protection regulations and best practices.
    • Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management, streamlining administrative tasks and minimizing errors.
    • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulatory guidelines, mitigating risks and avoiding non-compliance penalties.
