Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Cloud-Native Solutions Engineer to join our client's team. This role will focus on designing, deploying, and managing APIGEE Hybrid runtime environments on Kubernetes clusters, as well as automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure automation, scripting with Bash/Shell and Python, and solid Google Cloud Platform knowledge. Proficiency in deploying and managing containerized applications using Helm charts is essential.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage APIGEE Hybrid runtime plane on Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem).
  • Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of APIGEE Hybrid and APIGEE X environments.
  • Manage APIGEE runtime components, including Message Processors, Synchronizers, and Cassandra clusters within Kubernetes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash/Shell and Python to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with API teams to support API proxy deployments, troubleshoot runtime issues, and optimize platform performance.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for APIGEE platform deployments and API lifecycle management.
  • Monitor platform health, capacity planning, and perform troubleshooting for runtime and infrastructure issues.
  • Work closely with network, security, and cloud teams to configure secure and compliant environments.
  • Support multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployment strategies, ensuring seamless integration and governance.
  • Document platform architecture, operational procedures, and automation workflows.
